Eight weeks ago I took the plunge and decided to put my training and accountability in Coach Kartal's hands. I had fallen victim to the quarantine blues and virtually quit moving other than to eat and complain all with the excuse of "it's a pandemic, this is a weird time to be alive and I just don't want to improvise and adapt." During that time I gained a good 5 pounds (doesn't sound much but when you're short, it finds a way to make you look bad). Project X helped me unlearn bad habits and shed the unwanted quarantine weight quickly with great support and radical accountability. Now I'm back to a good weight with even better habits. Project X showed me just how inactive I was on a day to day basis, even when the gyms were open. I went from averaging 3-6 thousand steps to hitting at least 10k a day but usually more than that. I'm not new to the fitness scene by any means but Coach Kartal was a life saver during this time; I'd hate to see where I'd be without him and Project X. I not only got rid of the unwanted weight and found a comfortable lifestyle where I look forward to getting my NEATUP in but I found a second family in fellow participants.
