I am very glad that I signed up to Project X 2.0. Having tried various health and fitness programmes before, I have found Project X to be the best fit for me. I can see the good habits it promotes lasting long after the programme has ended. I had been on a bit of a downward spiral food-wise so I knew change was necessary, but I wasn’t looking forward to the idea of giving up food I enjoy. Project X hasn’t forced me to give anything up. It has helped me to adapt and modify so that I can continue to enjoy everything in a way that ultimately makes me healthier and happier. What I appreciate most about Project X is having the freedom to make my own choices but being held accountable for them. At the outset, I felt most accountable to Diren and not wanting to disappoint which was the initial push I needed. Over the course of the project, the feeling of accountability has shifted and I now feel most accountable to myself. With Project X, I have become more knowledgable and confident in modifying portion sizes, tracking calories, nutrients and using healthier food alternatives - new habits that I can sustain. I am finding it helpful to have a calorie goal to guide me but of course there are days when it goes out the window. Diren has been great at making sure guilt isn’t a part of Project X. Went over your calorie goal? Missed a workout? Didn’t get all your steps in? No guilt - start fresh tomorrow. The check-ins, leaderboards and group zoom calls provide accountability and boost motivation to keep doing well, so when you have moments that take you off course, it’s easy to get back on track because you want to and you have the right tools. I’ve lost 10kg over the course of Project X 2.0 and am looking forward to continuing my progress in 4.0. I highly recommend Project X and Diren’s fun and professional guidance to anyone who wants to become more knowledgeable and proactive in making positive, lasting changes to their lifestyle.
