Project X gave me the kick up the arse I’ve needed for a long while. I’ve been too nervous of being called out, or spending £150 only to get kicked off the program and fail, that I’ve wanted to do well and see it through. Plus your no excuses, tell it how it is Facebook Lives really pushed me to keep going each week. Don’t get me wrong, I've had some off days where I didn’t track properly, and in the end only managed on average 3 workouts per week but I have NEVER stuck to anything consistently for this long before, and the proof is in the pudding. Down from 10st 2 to 9st 7 as of this morning (my goal weight for Project X) 11 POUNDS!!! but more importantly... A total change in body composition, realisation that I can eat what I want as long as it’s in my calories (and how easy calorie counting becomes the longer you do it!), how happy workouts make me feel after I’ve done them (my anxiety has gone right down), how easy this is when you put some effort in and how much I’m enjoying the journey. In addition to the above I have met a fabulous bunch of people who behind the scenes have motivated me, helped me, made me laugh, and have become friends. Can’t wait to carry on and see what I can achieve if I keep going!
